I haven't been there, but we were in Cranbrook and Kimberley this last weekend, which is just up the valley. Baynes Lake is about 2 hours from my house. The next time I go to Fernie I will have to stop and take a visit. We are thinking of spending next Memorial Day near Cranbrook somewhere, if the weather is good.

Hey James,
Have you ever been to Baynes Lake, British Columbia? It's a ways from you, but you're the only person I can think of who lives out that way -- plus you are adventurous enough to have possibly explored that far NE.
