Denmark Photos
I finally uploaded some photos from my Denmark trip. The full album is on Picasa here.
I spent the first week riding my bicycle across the main island (Sjaelland), from Copenhagen in the east to the west coast. Then I took a ferry to Samso, a quiet little island. My final ferry ride took me to the mainland, where I rode north to a beautiful place near a ruined castle at Kalo. I attended a week-long conference there and then hitched a ride back to Copenhagen for my flight home.
Denmark is not a pretentious country, and the scenery is quite tame. But it is a beautiful place to ride a bicycle and it seems the country has more bike paths than the entire U.S.
