“1 October 1925. The following sects are active in Samara Province:
Baptists – 35 congregations, 2,500 people
Molokans – 23 congregations, 4,800 people
Seventh Day Adventists – 20 people (in Samara only)
Evangelistic Christians – 3 congregations (1 in Samara, 2 in the districts)
New Israelites and Mormons (in other words, Khlysts) – 500 people
Tolstovites/Quakers – 150 people.”
